Your friends will attend to that." ~Francis Bacon
I am soo tired, getting to bed early and reading and sleeeeep.
Okay, I'm updating this blog with some items I am (or I guess was..) considering to make in my Foundations class...along with our folding paper in to shapes project...and short brainstorming ideas for Digital class set of 5...
Actually Claire is thinking about using the sunglasses..
I think I'm actually going to do the hedgehog hair clip or the light area of the book clip-on lamp..
Now shaaapes...and actually I don't know if my little black box is acceptable aha..
Ohmygosh I'm not in the computer lab!
I just noticed that I always but the smallest box with the black box...hm.
Now for some quick ideas for that set of 5 for digital...
1) series of cigarette butts lined up against each other. For each photo have them going in different angles and spacing & maybe get new cigarette butts for each photo...(that way I get to pick up trash as well aha)
2) take pictures of different coffee/cafe' scenes and draw in a person sitting at a table
3) (same idea as above buut..) take picture of friend (person in general) at different coffee places and then in PS or AI outline their body, clothing folds, facial features, etc. and delete that actual person to leave behind the lines of them and also with a white...filling?...
4) same idea as above BUT have the people at the same table and set up and just have them do their own pose or something..
Yeahhhh.....or the Fire Escape signs (from last blog)...or maybe even pictures of those leaves that could be seen through the blue tinted glass....
That's that.
This song sort of reminds me of my mom and how she's always supported and reassured me...also. my dad during those brief times I actually talked with him about feeling anything aha....

Much ado
about nothing
Good morning. I'm going to eat at Tutta Bella's today with my bud (it's our tradition now to have brunch with each other every Sunday aha)
Here is an update on some more Foundations homewooork and some "in case of fire" signs because there are such a variety of 'em.
I really have no idea if I'm doing these correctly..I'm thinking I'll make a few more and on Monday have Tina go over them and tell me if I did any correctly ;-;
Now for some fun Fire Signs!
Sneaking up on the fire...
Getting chased by the fire..
Fire showing you the way out...?
Thanks for showing me the way out fire friend! Byyyye.
Friendship is so beautiful aha.
Oh hey...I wonder if I had one more pic if these could qualify as my set of 5 for digital...of course I'd prob have to retake the pictures and not use my cell phone aha...
Hello Seattle by Owl City
(and now I know where Puget Sound is...or even what it is ahhh. Thank you seeing green class.)

Let us go singing
as far as we go the road will be less tedious." ~Virgil
So, I'm watching The Office right now. But I'm updating this with pictures of my process I guess of my axis project for Foundations...so since I'm watching something while doing this let's see how many mistakes I can make.
The camel dude below was one of the options I thought I'd do for Foundations
Today I went walking...I felt rather restless. I just walked wherever the lights told me to go aha- aka that little white dude, the nemesis of the red hand. I saw some dudes dressed up for some sort of sports team, heard a bell ding at some point, decided to follow the scent of cinnamon rolls down another street, was tempted to go down some alleys and stairs, watched a guy scrape a window...
I like walking around a city, lots of scents and sights. Back at Ridgecrest, the Gateway to Death Valley, it was just about 3 miles by 3 miles (unless you count the base buuut you can't really go there unless you have a pass), and I just biked from my house to the "market area" where the Wal*Mart, Albertsons, and Jack in the box was. I didn't really walk around much because I lived on the fringes of Ridgecrest and was generally far away from buddies..also I was afraid of walkign anywhere with the pedophiles around aha.
In Three Rivers I walked around my back yard at our rental...we had a lot of trees and brush. I was in the rental mostly for the winter time, whenever it rained I'd go out and just sit on a log and watch locals and tourists drive by. I'd also sing "Oh Shenandoah" too because I was learning in on the piano at the time. When we did get a house it was up a hill and sitting between 2 other houses so I didn't have to much to explore. Just down the hill into some brush area where I could see the river roaring by, my cats would follow me too and they'd "show" me different pathways as well.
Now I'm in Seattle, where the rain is cold but there are so many places to go to and people to see. So it was fun. I unwound a bit and just walked and drank kombucha aha. At one rest stop I sat and just looked around and a lady smoking a cigarette was standing beneath some trees where the sun was bright, she looked over at me and smiled and said "sunlight" I smiled back. I should have probably been warming myself in the sun too but I was soon on my way to go down streets I haven't been down before.
Unlike Ridgecrest where I'd watch out for pedophiles, or Three Rivers where I'd keep an eye out for cougars, bears or snakes in Seattle I keep an eye out for any crazy people or anyone walking to close..I didn't feel to concerned though. Maybe I was just tired, or felt that I could hit someone with my hefty Kombucha bottle, or...I dunno. Just sort of not to concerned about being harmed though.
A couple of times I wanted to go into parking garages and just walk around...
During the walk back I walked under one of those blue-glassed over hangings and saw that no one had cleaned it in awhile. Leaves were on it and had a dirt halo around them. I wonder if that's what they'd look like if you were under ice and looking up...
While I was taking pictures of this a leaf somehow fell into my hair and stayed there until I got done and brushed it out, I looked down to see where it went but I didn't find it..
On my way back to MCC I finally took an alley way down (the one connected to where teachers can park I think?) and looked at all the little nooks and crannies. I thought this door was interesting..
Hmm...yes.
So after my adventure of not getting lost thankfully and seeing some interesting things, smelling many things (from fresh cinnamon rolls to paint remover), and feeling mostly the chill of fall I came back to good ol' MCC to update my blog.

Kindess is a language
which the deaf can hear, and the blind can read." ~Mark Twain
I felt the urge to update this with some digital homework...I need to take pictures of my process with Foundations...ohmy yes I do need to do that...!
But, here are two pictures that I combined in Photoshop using masking...not very impressed with it really...it's just. Moleskine cover: "Hey, wanna fade over me?" Pencil bag:"Sure buddy" Moleksine cover:"Alriiight"....I should probably eat something...
There it is folks.
Pretty sure I've left you guys with a different song done by this guy before....Hopefully not the same one...

Look at me....Ok, well...after being here far toooo long in the Computer Lab (though Morgan did drop by and give me some of her sushi leftovers aha) here are 2 pics I've tried to insert myself into and make myself seem like I belong there...I need to make more shadows for myself in the group picture one (along with a long shadow for my main body in the grass...). Took me such a long time to make my skin that yellow-faded color arrg. Also, looking at the picture it looks like I have to add some bright yellow stain near the right side of my body because of the picture...
...yayy...I need to sleep now...and get this sushi taste out of my mouth..

I finished my Foundations portrait...but am not pleased. -shakes head- mmm. I redid it so many times (darn you shades of gray) and I knowww that I still need to go over some of the grays still (some bad funky misxin of colors). But....here's the process of self destruction and demoralization. Dramallama
